GENERAL ASSISTANT/CAREGIVER

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 with 2 years’ experience within a Private Health Care institution
  • Namibian Citizen
  • Proven work ethic and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Assisting other members of the team in the preparation and cleaning of Theatres.
  • Identify patient care requirements.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results needed
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Identify, prevent and report medico-legal risks and adverse events within the unit
  • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing support to patients, friends and families
